Is there a way to get the dye to look like old black and also is it possible to buy the old black dye? Thanks.

No not much chance of getting any dye combinations to look like old ones. And I believe they converted all the dyes.

blue+brown+silver made a passable 'old black' on one set of armor for me, try that out and see if you like it.

Never changing it!

Anyways, try black + grey + grey (or even another grey).
